25 | On 03/24/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pa Kou Vue conducted an unannounced Case Management – Licensee Initiated visit and met with Licensee Halima Mohammadi. A tour of the facility was conducted indoors and outdoors, and a census was taken. This visit was initiated by licensee to inspect the converted garage (separated into 2 rooms) and backyard that was previously off limits and now the Licensee wants it to be accessible to provide care for the children. Licensee stated days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 6:00AM – 11:00PM. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is 209-360-6502..
The purpose of today’s visit was to clear the use of the converted garage and backyard to provide care for daycare children. LPA observed the converted garage is kept clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. LPA observed appropriate toys and furnitures for children in care. LPA observed no hazards to children’s present. In the backyard, LPA observed no hazards to children present. LPA observed numerous children’s toy and play equipment’s. Licensee was reminded to conduct daily walk throughs of the backyard, to conduct checks for play toys and equipment’s for normal wear and tear over time. Licensee stated she understood.
There are pets are the premises. Licensee advised it is her responsibility to ensure the safety of children in care at all times from the pets.
LPA obtained a new facility sketch and confirmed with the Licensee that areas accessible to the children will now be the converted garage, backyard, living room, dining room, kitchen, and downstairs bathroom. LPA approves the immediate use of the converted garage and backyard.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Halima Mohammadi. Appeal rights were provided.
