25 | On 03/12/2024, A second announced pre-licensing inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Jeovanna Yanez and Christopher Burnias. Met with Applicant, Maria Amezquita. Applicant, her husband, and her adult daughter reside in the home.
The purpose of today's inspection is to verify that the following corrections requested were made. LPA observed the following correction during today's inspection:
· Applicant made bedroom #1, bedroom #2, storage closet and garage inaccessible to daycare children. LPA inspected master bedroom today and approved for daycare use.
· Applicant made inaccessible the following items: batteries, medications, knives, cleaning products, "keep out of reach of children" products, and other potential items from bathroom and/or kitchen drawers via safety latches.
· Applicant stored poisons under key lock in the garage.
· Applicant stored firearms and ammunition in accordance to Title 22 Regulations.
· Applicant made the above-ground pool and small fish pond located in the backyard with five (5) foot black mesh fencing in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. The gate is self-latching/self-closing, swing away from the pool and latching device is located no more than six inches from the top of the gate.
· Applicant will made the following inaccessible: two propane tanks, gardening products, tools, and other potential hazards located in the backyard via child safety gate.
