25 | On 03/05/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by licensee Daysi Alvarado. Days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday for 24 hours each day. There must be at least a one-hour break in care every 24 hours to meet regulation. Activities, meals, rest, and play must be offered based on the children’s needs and time of day. Licensee understands that the doors of where the provider is sleeping and the room where the children are sleeping shall remain open. All Title 22 rules still apply at all hours.
This is a single level home and there are no stairs. LPA toured the home inside, outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the main daycare room, living room, bedroom #1, dining room and hallway bathroom are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of child safety gates and doorknob spinners. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. LPA observed child-sized table, chairs, play kitchens, push toys, a mounted television, and various games, toys, and books for the children. There is one fireplace in the home located in the living room and is made inaccessible by a glass door and will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times. The outdoor play area in the backyard is fenced and there are no hazards to children present. LPA observed a swingset, slides, riding toys and child-sized table and chairs. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
