25 | On 08/11/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an announced Change of Location Pre-licensing inspection and met with Licensee, Daryke Cordeiro. The Licensee was previously Licensed out of the San Bruno Regional Childcare Office under facility #384005007 on 03/19/2025. A tour of the home was conducted both inside and outside. Licensee and her partner reside in the two story, three bedroom, two and a half bathroom home.
Licensee understands per Title 22 Regulations she must have a qualified assistant when she operates her family childcare home as a large capacity. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on 08/04/2026.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
This is a two-story home and upstairs area will be off-limits to the day-care children. There is a child safety gate at the base of the stairs, making upstairs area inaccessible. Care and supervision will be provided on the first level of the home. LPA reviewed the facility sketch and confirmed that the living room (daycare room), dining room, kitchen, downstairs half-bathroom and closet are accessible and available for the children to use while in care. LPA observed child size furniture, safe toys, colorful play mats, age-appropriate books, learning materials, puzzles, building blocks, play kitchen and a play tent for the children in the daycare room. There is also a diaper changing table and one crib. Infants will nap in the cribs and children will nap on sleep cots in the daycare room. There is a parent board that is located on the closet door at the entryway. LPA advised licensee the parents board must be readily available for parents to view. Required items are posted in the Child Care Home where parents may easily view. Continued on LIC809-C.
