On March 29, 2023, at 8:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) J. Helton conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with licensee Chelsea Meyer. It was alleged that an adult (A1) in the home inappropriately touched a day care child.

On March 20, 2023, at 3:30 PM, Investigator E. Gutierrez interviewed C1 and P1. On March 21, 2023, Investigator J. Balarie interviewed P2. P2 stated C1 never made the allegations to him, and he had no safety or sexual abuse concerns with the childcare home.

On March 22, 2023, at 1:55 PM, Investigator Balarie interviewed licensee and at 2:50 PM, A1 was interviewed, both denied the allegations.

On March 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM, C1 was interviewed a second time. The two interviews were not consistent and were not consistent with the initial disclosure.

Between the dates of March 28 and April 6, 2023 (P3-P9) were interviewed. P3-P6, P8-P9 stated no safety or sexual abuse concerns with the childcare home.

On May 17, 2023, Investigator Balarie received and reviewed police reports. On June 6, 2023 copies of CPS reports were request, the reports were received and reviewed.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated.

Exit interview was conducted with assistant Shawn Meyer.

A copy of report, appeal rights and a notice of site visit were given. Notice of site visit must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with positing requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
