On 3/13/2023 at 9:10am, a Required-1 Year inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez. At 9:45am the home was toured inside and outside. During today's inspection there were no children in care. The facility’s operating hours are 10:00am-12:00pm, Monday–Saturday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are two bedrooms and the backyard, and were made inaccessible by locks and doorknob covers. The licensee takes children to a nearby park for outdoor play. The licensee understands that constant visual supervision is required while at the park. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard.

Five children's records were reviewed at 10:04am. One staff record was reviewed at 9:55am.

There are currently three adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
