25 | On 12/7/2022 at 3:15 PM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J. Helton. At 4:10 PM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 11 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 3:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Saturday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are all 3 bedrooms, master bathroom, laundry room, all of backyard to include a garage and shed, and were made inaccessible by baby gates and locks and alarms. The children go to the park when weather is permitting as the outdoor play area and it not fully fenced, licensee gives constant supervision and only takes a few kids at a time.There is a in ground pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with Title 22 approved fencing and children are not able to access the backyard. The door has an alarm and high locks. 6 children's records were reviewed at 3:30 PM. 2 staff records were reviewed at 3:55 PM.
There are currently 2 adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
