25 | On 12/18/24 at 1:40pm, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Elizabeth Friese. At 1:45pm the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising 2 children and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are, 12:00am to 11:59pm Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are all the bedrooms, master bathroom, the entire backyard and shed, and were made inaccessible by baby gate, door latches and window and slider door alarms. Licensee takes the children to the park as the outdoor play area and provides constant supervision when they are there. There is an in ground pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with wooden and chain link fencing with slats and has a waiver on file for window locks and alarms and the terms of the waiver are being met. Licensee understands that pool regulations are changing and her waiver will no longer be valid as of January 1, 2025. Licensee has plans to replace fencing and was provided instructions that outline new guidelines for the fencing, entry alarm or cover, body hook and life ring.
3 children's records were reviewed at 2:49pm. 2 staff records were reviewed at 1:50pm. There are currently 2 adults living in the home.
The following deficiencies were cited by record review: 2 Type B deficiencies for disaster drill not being conducted within the 6 month mandate, S1's immunizations not on file. (see LIC 809D)
