25 | A prelicensing inspection was conducted today at 4:25 PM by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J. Helton. LPA met with licensee Venessa Oliver. The applicant/licensee is requesting a license for a capacity of 14. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The residence is a 4 bedroom/2 bath single story home. There are 1 adults and 3 minors currently living in the home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The following areas will be off limits to children: 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room. These areas have been made inaccessible by means of baby gate and baby doorknob covers. The home has a converted garage, for the main child care area. Poisons are locked in kitchen. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The fireplace is electric and shut off and in the off-limits area of the house. The children will use the backyard as the outdoor play area. The backyard is completely fenced. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises.
