25 | On 12/11/23 @ 11:58am Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's) E. Laird and T. Dutra conducted an announced Case Management inspection. LPA's met with licensee, Katie Perryman.
During inspection, LPA's observed an infant laying down in a mesh enclosure with a blanket and bottle and a baby walker.
The following deficiency is being cited: 102425(b) all cribs or play yards shall be free from all loose articles and objects. And 102417(10)(b) A baby walker shall not be allowed on the premises of a family child care home in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 1596.846(b) and (c) (see LIC 809D):
LPA E. Laird and T. Dutra informed licensee Katie Perryman that this report dated 12/11/2023 documents 1 Type A citation(s) which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there is an immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
Also, LPA E. Laird informed the licensee to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 12/11/23 that documents any Type A citation(s) to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification.
An exit interview was conducted with licensee, Katie Perryman and appeal rights were provided.
Notice of Site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
