25 | On 5/26/23 at 2:19 PM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Pearl DiGenova and Laura Chavez. At 2:10 PM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising 2 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:15 AM -5:15 PM, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The daycare areas of the house are the family room, one bedroom and bathroom, and the rest of the house is made inaccessible by baby gate. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is an in ground pool in the back yard. The licensee has a waiver on file for a window lock, and the terms of the waiver are being met.

All adults in the home are background check cleared. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
