25 | On 6/28/23 at 3:39pm, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), E. Laird and S. Sims. At 3:39pm the home was toured inside and outside. The assistant was supervising two children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:00pm-5:30pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room, and side yard, and were made inaccessible by baby gate and door knob covers. The children use the back porch as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard.
Assistant was unable to provide children's files or staff files. Licensee was not at the facility during inspection.
There are currently adults 3 living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
The following deficiencies were cited(see LIC 809D):
