25 | A pre licensing inspection was conducted today at 9:35 am by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Wisehart. LPA met with applicant, Rachel Alwag. The applicant is requesting a license for a capacity of 14. The Fire Marshall approved the Fire Clearance on 6/7/22 for a capacity of 14. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The residence is a 3 bedroom 2 bath single home with a granny unit where the day care is housed. There are 2 adults and no minors currently living in the home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The following areas will be off limits to children, the whole home. These areas have been made inaccessible by means of via locks. The granny unit where the day care is house has a separate entrance. Poisons are locked in garage. The granny unit is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The wood insert is not being utilized, however, the licensee understands that to use the insert a secured fire fence would be required. The children will use the backyard as the outdoor play area. The backyard is completely fenced. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises.
