25 | On 11/10/22 at 11:40 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) N. Cunningham conducted an annual random visit to the home in conjunction with a visit to the licensee's request for an increase in capacity to 14. At 12:30 p.m. the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising one children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are all bedrooms, living room and kitchen, and were made inaccessible by door locks and child gates. The children will use the side yard for the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard.
One child's records was reviewed at 11:50 p.m., three staff records were reviewed at 12:05 p.m.
There are currently two adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
