13 | On 02/05/26 2:45 pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Noah Wheeler and Kiriko Lynch conducted an unannounced complaint inspection, and met with administrator Jolene Edwards. It was alleged that unqualified staff is left alone caring for and supervising day care children, more specifically, a teacher/aide without the regulatory education requirements, 12 early child education/child development units, has been closing the facility by themself at least three times per week.
The administrator Jolene Edwards was interviewed on 10/30/25 at 1:00 pm and denied the allegation, stating that she currently has four fully qualified staff including herself at the facility. Seven staff (S1-S7) were interviewed on 01/22/26 and three parents (P1-P3) were interviewed on 02/02/26. During the interviews, no disclosures were made pertaining to the allegation, unqualified staff are left alone supervising day care children. During today’s inspection, the facility was toured, and LPAs observed adequate supervision and care being provided to children in care.
