25 | A prelicensing inspection was conducted today at 11:00 AM by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Noah Wheeler. LPA met with applicant Mariah Martin. The applicant is requesting a license for a capacity of eight. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM. The residence is a four bedroom, two ½ bath single story home. There are three adults and two minors currently living in the home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The following areas will be off limits to children: four bedrooms, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, laundry room. These areas have been made inaccessible by means of gate, lock etc. The home has a shed in the back yard area that is used by the landlord and not the family child care home. The she is separate from the home and has been mad inaccessible by a locked gate. Poisons are locked under the kitchen sink. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The fireplace is securely screened with baby gate. The children will use the front yard as the outdoor play area. The front yard is completely fenced. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises.
