LPA discussed pet safety requirements with Licensee. It was explained that in the event of a pet-related injury, the Licensee would be responsible for her pets’ actions. Licensee acknowledged the discussion.

LPA discussed the Community Care Licensing website at www.ccld.ca.gov, which provides access to forms, regulations, Provider Information Notices (PINs), and Quarterly Updates. LPA reviewed Reporting Requirements as outlined in the regulations (Section 102416.2).
Licensee was reminded that all adults age 18 and older living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer an existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. Failure to comply will result in the assessment of a civil penalty of $100.00 minimum per day, per person, for a maximum of 5 days, or for a maximum of 30 days for repeat violations.
