| On 8/9/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ruby Ocegueda and Aurelio Mendoza conducted an announced case management inspection and met with Director Jennifer Stimpel. LPAs explained the reason for the inspection and a tour of the center was conducted both inside and outside.
On 7/11/ 2023, LPA Nancy Her conducted a case management inspection at the facility and observed the middle classroom had equipment, toys and furnishings but were not set up for use yet. Also, missing during that inspection were cubbies for children to store their belongings. Today, LPAs observed that there were enough cubbies to accommodate the 24 children. The cubbies were anchored. Toys, equipment and furnishings were all organized and displayed to accommodate children comfortably.
Also observed in the children's restroom, was an outlet cover that was previously open and now was inaccessible.
There were new area rugs in two of the classrooms (classroom 1 and classroom 2) that had some curled up corners and today Director ordered rug anchors/anti skid product that would help in making the rugs completely flat and reduce the risk of tripping hazards.
Today, LPAs inspected the equipment and toys and were deemed safe and clean. Director also stated that the facility will no longer intend to use a teeter totter that was previously in need of repair. Today, LPAs observed that the teeter totter was no longer in the play yard.
A recommendation will be made to license the above facility for the requested capacity of 24 preschool children ages 2-6. The facility will operate from 7:30 AM -5:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Exit interview was conducted with Director Jennifer Stimpel.
