25 | On 2/27/23, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Norma Lomeli and Jeovanna Yanez conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, her husband and four day care children. Licensee, her husband and her adult son reside in the home. Verified licensee CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on 1/7/25. Licensee’s Assistant, Daisy Zavala completed the training through American Red Cross and expires on 1/725. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 2/1/23.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 2/8/23. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall in the living room.
- LPAs observed safe toys for the children and a flat screen television mounted onto the wall. LPAs also observed one high chair and two play yards. There is a parent’s board that is located on the left hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
