25 | On February 17, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Xona Xayavong conducted an unannounced Annual Required – 3 years Inspection and was met by Licensee Sandra Ceballos. Also present was licensee’s husband/assistant. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketches and confirmed that the family room, bathroom, living room, daycare room, and backyard are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of baby gates and doorknob spinners.
There is a built-in swimming pool in the backyard, which is fenced and made inaccessible. The pool gate is self-latching, self-closing, and opens away from the swimming pool. LPA observed no windows or doors provide direct access to the pool area. LPA observed that the mesh fencing was 60 inches in height, there was a key-lockable device located 60 inches above the ground, a pool alarm that complied with ASTM International Standards F2208, a life ring that was at least 17 inches in diameter and U.S. Coast Guard approved, and a rescue pole with a body hook that was at least 12 feet in length. Licensee provided a pool inspection log to the LPA.
There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is one fireplace in the home located in the living room and is made inaccessible by a screen and will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. (Continue on LIC 809-C)
