25 | On March 27, 2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Xona Xayavong and Valentin Hernandez conducted an unannounced case management – other inspection. LPAs met with Licensee Raquel Sanchez. Licensee is Spanish speaking, and certified Spanish interpreter Valentin Hernandez assisted with translation. LPAs toured the facility inside and outside, and a census was taken. Also present was the licensee’s adult son/assistant. LPAs explained that the purpose of the inspection was to follow up on information gathered from interviewees.
During interviews, interviewees expressed concerns regarding children’s personal rights, supervision, and reporting requirements.
Licensee stated she understands that children must be supervised at all times and that when she is unavailable, she will ensure her assistant is supervising the children.
Licensee stated she understands that each child receiving services has personal rights, including the right to be free from corporal punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threats, mental abuse, or other punitive actions.
Licensee stated she shall notify a child’s parent or authorized representative of any injuries or acts that may affect the child.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies were cited. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Raquel Sanchez. The licensee was provided with a copy of the report and appeal rights. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213, Notice of Site Visit, was provided and is required to be posted for 30 days.
