25 | On July 11, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee and her three minor children. Licensee, her husband and four minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on September 21, 2023. Licensee’s Assistant, Martin Corona has not completed Pediatric CPR and First aid certification, applicant understands that her assistant(s) cannot be left alone with the day care children. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on June 24, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on July 5, 2022. Fire alarm is located in the day care room on the left hand side wall.
- LPA observed in the day care room; children size furniture, safe toys and books for the day care children. There is a flat screen television mounted onto the wall. There is a parents board that is located in the day care room on the left side wall LPA also observed a high chair in the living room.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 1A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
