25 | On 8/21/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, her husband, her mother and four day children. Licensee, her husband, her mother, her adult daughter and one minor child reside in the home. Verified licensee’s and Licensee’s Assistant, Giselle Navarro completed CPR and First Aid was completed through EMS Safety and expires on 7/25/25. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 8/2/24.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 8/12/24. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s dining room wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. There is a flat screen television on top of a television cabinet. LPA also observed one high chair, an infant swing and one play yard. There is a parent’s board that is located on the left hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 3A40BC fire extinguisher that is mounted onto the kitchen wall. There is a carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
