25 | On December 12, 2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kari McWilliams completed an announced case management visit and met with Licensee Marlene Luna. The purpose of todays inspection was Licensee requested due to Licensee requesting to be able to utilize the addition of a detached room to provide care and supervision to children in her day care. A tour of the facility was completed and a census was taken.
LPA confirmed that the detached room and the restroom inside the detached room were complete with permits and a final inspection was completed by the city. Licensee confirmed that the detached room as well as the kitchen, living room and restroom inside the home would be used for providing care and supervision to children in care; all other rooms are made inaccessible by use of child safety devices.
LPA McWilliams inspected the detached room and observed that all of the unused outlets had covers, the room was clean and in good repair. LPA observed that there are age appropriate toys, a restroom for children to use and that there are no hazards to children in care.
LPA McWilliams obtained an updated facility sketch with the additional room included as well as proof of the inspections for the room.
Exit interview was conducted with Licensee Marlene Luna.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
