25 | On April 23, 2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Kari McWilliams conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and was met by licensee Yuliana Gonzalez, also present was Licensee’s husband, Ruben Gonzalez. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM-5:00PM. There is one dog on the premises but it is not accessible to children in care.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the day care room, and bathroom, are used for providing care and are accessible to children. Kitchen, dining room and living room are accessible as a walk through to the bathroom. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of door knob spinners and baby gates.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is one heater that looks like a fireplace in the home located in the living room and is made inaccessible by glass and will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
This is two story home and stairs are barricaded by a child safety gate when children under five years old or younger are present. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (559) 859-0075.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times and is aware children shall not be left in parked vehicles. Licensee’s backyard is not accessible to children in care. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained. |
