25 | On September 29, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, licensee’s minor child and four day care children. Licensee and her four minor child reside in the home. Verified licensee CPR and First Aid was completed through American Heart Association and expires on August 27, 2022. Licensee’s assistant will be licensee’s minor child whose age assisting with care and supervision meets Title 22 Regulations . Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on September 16, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on September 26, 2022. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed a high chairs in the kitchen, two play yards and an infant swing. There is a parent’s board that is located in the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
