25 | On 07/27/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs), Norma Lomeli and Erica Pacheco conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was Licensee, Patricia Denton. Licensee, her husband, and four minor children reside in the home. LPAs observed seven day-care children present. Verified licensee CPR and First Aid was completed through America Heart Association and expires 04/7/25. Licensee’s Assistant, Francisco Uribe completed the training American Heart Association and expires on 11/15/24. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 7/22/23.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 6/29/23. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall.
- LPAs observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed three high chairs, an infant swing, and four play yards. There is a parent’s board that is located on the left hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does have firearms and ammunition that are stored in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. There are no poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
