25 | On 08/01/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Burnias met with Licensee Danielle Panuco at the day care facility for the purpose of a case management inspection. Licensee wishes to add an additional room (Classroom 2) as an accessible area for the day care facility.
LPA took a census and observed that the facility is within capacity and ratio requirements. LPA verified all adults in the home have fingerprint clearance and 1st Aid and Mandated Reporter Certifications on file.
LPA toured the facility and inspected Classroom 2 which Licensee wishes to make an accessible area for the day care facility. LPA observed a large child size table, child size chairs, and age appropriate toys which pose no hazards to children in care. Upon inspection of Classroom 2, LPA approved the room for use by the day care facility. Licensee provided an updated facility sketch to include Classroom 2 as an accessible area.
LPA also inspected the new location where Licensee plans to store firearms and ammunition. Licensee had moved the firearms and ammunition from a previously inaccessible room to their Master Bedroom which is inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed that firearms and ammunition were stored and locked separately with additional trigger lock on firearm.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Danielle Panuco. Licensee was provided appeal rights.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
