Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Daniel Alvarez conducted an unannounced case management inspection due to licensee wanting to add the converted garage to her day-care. LPA were met by licensee Guadalupe Penuelas. The purpose of today's inspection was to approve the new room addition/converted garage. Licensee submitted copy of city Permit No. 103600 issued on 02/23/2023. There is a wall air conditioning/heating unit and a functioning smoke detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The room addition is approved for day care use effective 03/27/2023. Licensee submitted a new facility sketch showing that the converted garage, living room/dinning room, kitchen, hallway bathroom are used for providing care and accessible to children.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies are cited during today's visit.
