25 | On July 31, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valentin Hernandez and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Cynthia Brannon conducted an unannounced case management-licensee initiated visit. LPA Hernandez and LPM Brannon met with Early Childhood Education Coordinator, Ruby Vejar toured the facility inside and outside and took a census. Facility operating hours is Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM.
The purpose for the inspection was to inspect the outside play yard due to a sink hole that was reported by Ruby Vejar. Per Maintenance Operation and Transportation Director, Clint Jones, a water pipe burst in the preschool play yard, causing a sink hole. During today's inspection, LPA and LPM inspected the outside play yard. There is a climbing structure with age appropriate sticker for preschool age children. Currently, the preschool is on summer break and will start on August 5, 2026.
During today's inspection, LPM reviewed with Ruby Vejar the requirement to have an assigned site supervisor, director or school principal on site. The assigned representative is responsible for one facility, not multiple facilities to meet Title 22 requirements, section Child Care Directors Qualifications and Duties 101215.1(d): The child care center director...shall be on the premises during the hours the center is in operation.
The report was reviewed, and an exit interview was conducted with Early Childhood Education Coordinator, Ruby Vejar. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency was cited during today’s inspection. Appeals rights were provided. Notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
