25 | On 3/30/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Spanish-speaking Applicant, Yesica Sanchez for a pre-licensing inspection. Applicant, her husband, and three minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 3/23/23.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 3/28/23. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the right hand side wall.
- This is a single story, four bedrooms and two bathrooms home and children will have access to living room #1, living room 2 (day care room), kitchen, and hallway bathroom. Off-limits rooms are made inaccessible by use of child proof safety gate and key locks.
- There is no fireplace in the home.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys, puzzles, children's manipulaitves, and books. LPA also observed diaper changing station, a flat screen television and a parents board for the children. Children will nap in the day care room on cots. Infants will nap in play yard. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and first aid kit in place.
