25 | On 6/27/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee and four day care children who were playing UNO card game in the living room. Licensee, her husband and four minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on 7/18/24. Licensee’s Assistant, Eligio Lemus Ibarra completed the training through American Red Cross and expires on 5/9/25. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 5/11/24.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 6/18/24. Fire alarm is located on the home’s hall way wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed two high chairs and a crib. There is a parent’s board that is located on the left wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms or ammunition in the home. Poisons kept key locked in the laundry room.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
