25 | On 3/7/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee and five day care children who were napping in the day care room. Licensee and two minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on 7/29/2025. Licensee does not have a qualified assistant. Licensee understands she must have a qualified assistant when she operates her family child care home as a large capacity. Fire clearance was granted on 1/21/2025.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 1/23/2025. Fire pull alarm is located in the home’s day care room.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed two booster feeding chairs, a portable diaper changing table and three play yards. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right wall of the home’s entry way.
- Firearms are stored in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. Licensee states she does not have ammunition or poisons in the home or on the premises..
