25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Mai Yang and Lady Cabrera conducted a subsequent Case Management visit to discuss information obtained from the initial visit conducted on 04/30/2021. LPAs met with Administrator Mandy Rancour and stated the purpose of the visit.
On 04/22/2021, Facility Staff did not administer Resident’s (R1) 8p.m. centrally stored medications. On 04/23/2021, Unusual Incident/Injury Report was submitted to Community Care Licensing (CCL). On 04/26/2021, Staff was retrained on medication management. Based on the LPAs interview and records review, the Licensee did not meet California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8, Section 87465(a)(1) Incidental Medical and Dental Care.
On 07/28/2021, CCL received Unusual Incident/Injury Report regarding R2 receiving a medication prescription on 07/05/2021 that needed to be faxed to the pharmacy. On 07/27/2021, Administrator discovered that the prescription was not sent over. On the same date, Administrator contacted the pharmacy and sent the prescription in order to be filled. Based on the LPAs interview and records review, the Licensee did not meet California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8, Section 87465(d)(2) Incidental Medical and Dental Care.
