On 04/28/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Elizabeth Santiago and Deborah Khashe met with Facility Representative, Ali Cordoza and Katie Pack to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegations.

During the course of the investigation, LPAs inspected the facility, conducted interviews and observations, and reviewed records pertaining to allegations. It was alleged that staff refused to provide daycare child water, take away daycare child’s lunch, and caused daycare child to purposely get upset. Through interviews and observations, it was revealed that there are multiple water stations in the facility for children to have access to water at any time. Meals are provided to all children during lunch time and given the choice to eat their food. LPAs did not observe or witnessed any staff intentionally upsetting or provoking children resulting children to get upset.

Based on the information obtained throughout the course of this investigation the above allegations could not be substantiated or dismissed. LPA learned that facility staff does not refuse to provide water, does not take away child's lunch, and does not cause for child to purposely get upset. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the finding is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

An exit interview was conducted with the Facility Representative, Ali Cordoza and Katie Pack. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Appeal rights were provided.
