On March 1, 2024 at 1:45PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giovani Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection. LPA met with Director Whitney Hodler and informed them the purpose for this inspection is to provide the center with a copy of Decision and Order to exclude staff, VANESSA FLORES for a period of two years. A copy of the Decision and Order was served to staff by the Department on 02.23.2024. At the time of inspection 54 children were present with 5 staff.

LPA toured the facility and did not observe Vanessa Flores present at the facility. Director Whitney Hodler stated that Vanessa Flores has not worked for Las Posas for a long time.

Respondent VANESSA FLORES is prohibited from employment in, presence in, and contact with clients of, any facility licensed by the Department, certified or approved by a licensed foster family agency, or any resource family home, and from holding the position of member of the board of directors, executive director, or officer of the licensee of any facility licensed by the Department, for a period of two years.

Respondent is excluded from all care facilities licensed by the Department, certified by a licensed foster family agency, or any resource family home, and from holding the position of member of the board of directors, executive director, or officer of the licensee of any facility licensed by the Department for a lifetime, unless she successfully petition for reinstatement pursuant to Government Code section 11522. The Decision and Order becomes effective 03.04.2024.
