25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Emily Peraldi arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a required annual visit. At 9:50 a.m., LPA was greeted and screened by staff. At 10:11 a.m., the Administrator, Susana Vincecruz and the new applicant, Roberto Ramirez arrived at the facility. This annual had a specific emphasis on infection control practices and procedures.
At 10:20 a.m., the LPA, along with the Administrator toured the physical plant areas inside and outside to ensure there are no health and safety hazards and facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations.
BEDROOMS: The LPA observed resident bedrooms, which were furnished appropriately with clean linens, appropriate furnishings and sufficient lighting. Inside temperature was maintained at a comfortable level.
RESTROOMS: Restrooms are relatively clean and sanitary and in operating condition with grab bars and non-skid mats. At 10:42 a.m., hot water for both restrooms measured at 110.0 and 115.3-degree Fahrenheit.
OUTDOOR SPACE: At 10:36 a.m., the LPA observed the backyard, which has a covered outdoor area for resident use. There is a gate on the side of the house that is single latched designated for an emergency exit. There are bodies of water on the premises at the time of the visit, but the pool is fenced and locked. The garage is locked and detached to the house and laundry units are located inside the garage.
COMMON AREAS: The LPA observed common area to be relatively clean and properly furnished. The LPA observed board games and magazines in the common area. The LPA observed the fire extinguishers to be fully charged and last purchased on 05/18/2022. Flashlights were observed throughout the facility. Upon entry, signs are posted to promote handwashing, cough/sneeze etiquette, and physical distancing. At 10:49 a.m., fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and functioned properly.
