Contrary to the allegations, Director stated that newly enrolled children had been experiencing behaviors that have resulted in disruption of daily activities and children getting injured; however, they have been actively supervising children and staying within ratios to ensure injuries remain at a minimum. They also stated they notified parents every time a child gets injured. Furthermore, the facility has hosted a parent meeting to discuss concerns parents have voiced, and the Director stated they have been present in the classroom almost daily to ensure the staff feel supported. Director also indicated that the agency has conducted a training on dealing with children with behaviors and plan to conduct an additional training next month to moreover support staff. Lastly, parents that were interviewed said they were satisfied with the center and did not have any concerns regarding the care and supervision their children receive.
Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
