Furthermore, on 03/21/2024, DOJ Agents executed a search warrant at the daycare which resulted in criminal charges against Licensee Cristina Crowther, for Penal Code section 350(a)(2) – engaged in counterfeit trade. Due to the evidence received and licensee's pending criminal charges and having adults present during daycare hours without a criminal record clearance are substantiated.
During the investigation, it was determined citations of conduct inimical and criminal record clearance were warranted related to this complaint investigation. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, are being cited on the attached LIC9099D.
During this inspection licensee stated that 3 adults associated to the facility are her daughter, son, and boyfriend. A3 does not live in the home. He doesn't come during daycare hours, he comes occasionally after hours. Licensee's daughter lives in the home. Licensee's son moved to the home at the end of April 2024. Licensee's son was present due to him visiting when the incident occurred.
Also, LPA informed licensees to provide a copy of this licensing report amended and signed on 07/03/2024, that documents any Type A citation(s) to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with licensee, during which appeal rights were explained. A copy of the appeal rights (LIC 9058 (3/22)) was provided on 08/14/2024. |
