Personal Rights - Staff did not take appropriate steps to prevent the spread of a communicable disease

On January 29, 2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giovani Gonzalez condcuted an unannounced inspection at the above mentioned Child Care Center (CCC) to conclude a complaint investigaiton. LPA met with Director Leone Paul and informed them the purpose of the inspection. At the time of the inspection 28 children were present.

The allegation of Personal Rights - Staff did not take appropriate steps to prevent the spread of communicable disease could not be corroberated. Interview with staff revealed when there is an outbreak, staff conduct more frequent cleanings of surfaces, toys and equipment. Additionally, staff stated they have children wash hands more often and are vigilint of possible symptoms. Parent interviews revealed they are informed of communicable diseases and are notified of what steps are being taken to stop the spread.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

Report was reviewed with Director Leone Paul. Notice of site visit and appeal rights were given.
