LPA was unable to corroborate or validate the allegations of the complaints. Contrary to the allegations, licensee stated children enrolled in the FCCH are routinely checked to verify if they need diaper changes, licensee provided LPA a diaper change logs which indicated that children are changed about 2-4 times a day and their changes are noted. They also indicated that they are constantly sanitizing area that are frequently done by children, they also stated that if a child shows symptoms of illness, they will contact parent to pick up the child, they will also isolate the child until they are picked up to eliminate the chances of other children from getting infected. Furthermore, the licensee stated they will not allow the child to come back until parent provides a doctor’s note clearing them from coming back to childcare. Licensee also provided documents to LPA that indicate they are part of the food program; LPA reviewed the food menu posted on the parent board. Licensee also stated that it is part of the policy for parents to provide a reusable water bottle for the children to use in the FCCH, licensee stated children can request water throughout the day and there is water available for the children all day. If children do not have a reusable water bottle, they also have disposable water cups. Lastly, parents that were interviewed said they were satisfied with the FCCH and did not have any concerns regarding the care and supervision their children receive. Furthermore, parents stated they were satisfied with the quality and the amount of food and water children receive in the FCCH.

Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) and Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) are provided to licensee. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100.00 may apply.
