On 04/19/2023 at 4:00 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Francisca Velazquez and Giovani Gonzlaez conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPAs met with facility Director Sarah Hutson and advised her the purpose of the inspection. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection. This center operates from 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday - Friday. This is a combined center with school-age, pre-school and infant programs.

LPAs observed required licensing documents posted on the wall at the entrance of the facility. A snack/lunch schedule and menu was observed. The facility provides a morning and afternoon snack for children in care. Children have the option to bring lunch from home or purchase one from an outsource vendor that brings lunch to the facility. The center is using one classroom for the school age program. The classroom has one bathroom with three toilets and two sinks readily accessible to children in care. LPAs did not observe hazards/toxins accessible to children in care. LPAs observed each classroom have an ample amount of age-appropriate toys, books, and furniture readily accessible to children in care. LPAs observed and tested carbon monoxide detector at 4:24 PM and found it to be operable. The playground has ample amount of shade. LPAs observed the playground has age-appropriate toys and structures readily accessible for children in care. The facility ensures children have access to water by bringing a water pitcher for children. Children have their own labeled water bottles to fill. LPAs note there is an underground swimming pool in the school-age outdoor yard. Swimming pool does not contain any water. Additionally, the swimming pool is fenced and contains a lock.

A sampling of children files were not reviewed due to no school-age children being enrolled. Staff records were reviewed. LPAs observed staff file to be current and complete. Directors SB792 Child Adult Immunization and Tuberculosis requirements are readily accessible for review. CONT 809-C
