32 | LPA spoke with staff about communication with parents and recommended best practices for future. It was determined when requesting donated personal items like empty toilet paper rolls, the facility will store the item(s) in a way to minimize any cross contamination such as storing the item(s) in a bag marked with the child's name. Additionally communicating with the parents the specific item(s) will only be used by the child that brought it.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Facility will be receiving a technical advisory.
No deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
A closing interview was conducted with Director De Leon. Director provided Appeal Rights. |
