On 10/24/2022 at 1:08 PM Licensing Program Analyst, (LPA) Rona Chavez conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection - Licensee Initiated. LPA met with Licensee Gabriela Santana and discussed the purpose of the inspection. LPA asked pre screening questions related to COVID-19. There were 0 children present during the inspection.

On September 28, 2022 Community Care Licensing (CCL) received an application for an increase in capacity to a Large Family Child Care Home (FCCH). FCCH will use the living room, dining room, kitchen, playroom, one bathroom and the fenced front yard. The back yard and upstairs is off limits with a gate at the bottom of the stairs restricting access. The garage is off limits and LPA observed the garage door to be locked. A fire clearance was granted on October 20, 2022 by Ventura City Fire Department.

LPA discussed SB 792 (Child Care Employee and Volunteer: Immunization and Tuberculosis Requirements) and Criminal Background check requirements for an assistant. LPA provided resources for Safe Sleep Guidelines.

During today's inspection, no deficiencies were cited. Notice of site Visit was issued. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Mrs. Gabriela Santana.



Effective today, October 24, 2022 facility is approved to be a Large Family Child Care with a maximum capacity of 14 children.
