 THIS IS AN AMENDED REPORT
On August 9, 2023 at 02:30 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Villanueva made an unannounced inspection to initiate the investigation for the above allegations. LPA met with licensee, Aracely Sanchez and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and outside with licensee. LPA observed a total of 4 children under the care and supervision of licensee.

Licensee admitted that child care child opened front door and walked to the front of the house without her knowledge. A neighbor alerted licensee the child was outside unsupervised. Child pulled out a solar/planter light with a sharp metal bottom to play with. Ring camera footage time stamp shows child was outside alone from 5::19:37 PM to 5:21:45.

102417 Operation of a Family Child Care Home-(a) The licensee shall be present in the home and shall ensure that children in care are supervised at all times.

Licensee placed a child proof handle on the door handle (see picture). Licensee is a large family child care, therefore the fire department requires the front door to easily open from the inside. Licensee will install a sound alarm that will alert whenl the front door

until a neighbor alerted licensee of the child being alone in the front of the house. This poses an immediate threat to the health and safety of children in care.

A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) along with Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) are provided to licensee at the conclusion. LPA notes, licensee was informed to ensure Notice of Site Visit is posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100 may apply.
