On September 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Francisco Pedroza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA contacted the facility and conducted Covid-19 screening questions prior to entering the facility. LPA met with facility Director Tammy Grodt and advised her the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. There was six (6) children in care at the time of the inspection. Facility hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. This is a combined center with an infant license.

Facility uses one classroom for children in care. LPA observed required licensing documents mounted on the wall at the entrance of the classroom. Facility does not have a snack schedule. Children bring their own lunch and daily snacks from home. Facility has two restrooms available for children in care. One restroom is closed and they are currently only using one restroom because of the amount of children enrolled at this time. The restroom has two (2) sinks and three (3) toilets available. LPA did not observe any hazards/toxins items accessible to children in care. LPA observed the classroom to have enough books, toys, activities, and furniture readily accessible for children in care. The facility provides cots for children to use during quiet time after lunch if they choose to sleep. Children that do not sleep are provided a quiet activity during the quiet time. The outdoor playground has an ample amount of space for children to play. LPA observed the playground has age appropriate toys, a sandbox, and structure available for children to use. The playground has ample amount of shade available.
