On November 21, 2024 Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's) Aaliyah Zendejas and Susana Martinez conducted an unannounced inspection to deliver the findings of the above mentioned allegations. LPA's met with Licensee, Erika Flores and advised her of the purpose for the inspection. Together with the Licensee, LPA's toured the facility inside and outside. At the time of inspection there were 4 children in care and three adults in the home.

The investigation included two unannounced inspections, LPAs' observations as well as interviews (random sampling) of current parents of children in care. Interviews and LPAs' observations did not corroborate the allegations noted above. Investigations revealed that parents are allowed within the home, and licensee has not prohibited parents that were interviewed from entering the home of the provider. LPAs also did not observe instances of the provider not treating day care children with dignity and respect. Interviews revealed that there have not been any immediate concerns regarding the licensee and the care they are providing.

Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

No deficiencies were issued during this inspection.

A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) and Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) were provided to Licensee. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100.00.

Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Erika Fores.
