On October 06, 2023 at 9:10A AM Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Laura Villanueva and Veronica Diaz made an unannounced inspection to initiate the investigation for the above allegations. LPAs met with Director, Gloria Burciaga and Teacher, Melanie Sherman and explained the purpose of the visit. LPAs conducted a tour of the facility inside and outside with director and teacher. LPAs observed a total of 36 children under the care and supervision of 7 staff.

LPAs conducted a tour and took pictures of all the restrooms that children use. LPAs observed the restrooms to be clean and sanitary. They were stocked with hand soap and toilet paper. The soap is purchased at Sams Club in large containers. The small containers with a pump are filled as needed. The staff conduct inpections throughout the day and clean as needed. The center does not have a janitorial service. The staff are expected to clean as needed. They use Fabuloso cleaner to sanitize the restrooms.
