On 02/04/25 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Veronica Diaz conducted an unannounced inspection to deliver the findings of the above-mentioned allegations. LPA met with licensee Beronica Rico and advised them of the purpose for the inspection. Together with the licensee LPA toured the home inside and outside. At the time of inspection there were 5 children.

The Department received a complaint alleging licensee allowed uncleared adults to live in the home and licensee did not provide a safe environment for day-care children. This investigation included 2 unannounced inspections, records reviews, interviews with licensee, and parents.

LPA did not observe uncleared adults living in the home both unannounced inspections, records review did not reveal any incidents regarding the allegation stated. Licensee denied the allegation. Parents interviewed shared no concerns with care and supervision or did not observed uncleared adults during day-care hours. Overall, parents were satisfied with the care and supervision provided.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

No deficiencies were cited for today. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights were provided report was reviewed. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Beronica Rico.
