32 | Children’s records were reviewed for the six (6) children in care during the inspection. At 8:58AM PST, during record review & upon interviewing Licensee Naira, LPA discovered that LIC 627 for Child #02 (C2) was not on file. At 9:09AM PST, during record review and upon interviewing Licensee Naira, LPA determined that the LIC 995A for C5 was not on file. The children’s records were found to otherwise be current & complete. Licensee was reminded of their responsibility to ensure that a separate, complete, and current record is maintained for each child in care. Both Co-Licensees’ records were reviewed, as were records for the Assistant present during the inspection, and all were found to be current and complete. LPA notes the most recent fire drill was conducted on 5/22/2025. LPA reminded licensee of the requirement to conduct & document such drills every 6 months. Licensee states there are no firearms or ammunition stored on site.
LPA observed knives & other sharps, cleaning supplies, family medications, and other hazardous items stored in areas inaccessible to children in care.
